Concept Audio Visual was established in Perth in 1987 and throughout this time the company has served the corporate, education and government markets with quality audio visual products and services.

In more recent times Concept Audio Visual has focussed on the integration and installation processes whereby the business is able to offer clients a complete in-house service of sales, consultation, design, project management and training. The integration process involves various items of equipment, including projectors, flat panel displays, amplifiers, speakers, video conferencing, screens and control systems. These need to be coordinated in a manner that offers the best solutions for the client.

Concept Audio Visual is now an approved Certified AudioVisual Solutions Provider at the Gold level. The Certified AudioVisual Solutions Provider (CAVSP) Program is the industry standard certification program for companies in the professional audiovisual industry. It is administered by InfoComm International® and the International Communications Industries Foundation (ICIF).

The CAVSP Program includes three levels -- basic, silver and gold certified members -- depending on the percentage of staff within an organization who have received individual certification. Individual certification is known as the Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) program. To pass this stage the individual must score 80% or more on a rigorous examination across all areas of audio visual. Ongoing study must be undertaken to keep this certification.

To be eligible for CAVSP status the businesses must sell, integrate, design, provide consultation on AV equipment, systems and services. To participate in the audiovisual industry's highly regarded certification program, it is a requirement for the business to make a commitment to ongoing education and training for all employees. It is this commitment that has resulted in the certification being awarded initially and is necessary to be maintained so the certification is retained.
